Job Description

  • ?Maintains receiving, warehousing, picking and dispatch operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational procedures
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical and cycle counts; reconciling with data storage system
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new storage layouts, inspecting equipment and requesting repairs
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
  • Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Ensures the internal and external client requirements are met in keeping with service level agreement obligations
  • Ensures effective resource utilization and cost management
  • Provides adequate Root Cause Analysis for warehouse incidentsaccidents eliminated causes and follows up on submitting insurance claims
  • Reviews reports and audits all facilities periodically to ensure safety, health, security and sanitation guidelines are met
  • Responsible for KPI monitoring and performance management
  • Coordinates with various departments within the organization to fulfill the requirements
  • Any other related duties / projects assigned by the direct supervisor from time to time
  • Principal Accountabilities:
  • Ensures that management directives are executed within reasonable time frames and oversees implementation of new processes
  • Periodically reviews internal working processes and propose changes to meet and exceed the service level agreement obligations
  • Escalates technological applications requirements and constraints to the Management
  • Ensures company policies are communicated, applied and enforced (i.e. accounting, operational, safety, regulatory and administrative).
