Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Estimation Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an Estimation Officer, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for electrical projects. You will work closely with the project team to analyze project specifications, create detailed estimates, and ensure that projects are completed within budget.Responsibilities:

  1. Review project specifications and drawings to understand the scope of work and electrical requirements.
  2. Collaborate with the project team to develop accurate cost estimates for electrical projects.
  3. Prepare and submit detailed electrical estimates, including material and labor costs.
  4. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and quotes for electrical materials and services.
  5. Analyze and evaluate bids received from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitiveness and adherence to project requirements.
  6. Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
  7. Track and monitor project costs, ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
  8. Provide support to the project team by answering technical questions and assisting with project planning and scheduling.
  9. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in electrical estimation techniques.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination during the estimation process.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the same role.
  2. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  4. Proficient in using electrical estimation software and tools.
  5. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
