Mechanical Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing precise estimate of HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting works in miscellaneous types of electro-mechanical tenders like commercial buildings, residential buildings, high-rise buildings, industrial projects, healthcare projects ... etc. And will be accountable for accuracy of Mechanical Work?s Estimate.. Studying & Evaluating Mechanical Scope in tender documents like SOW, Drawing, Technical Specifications, etc. Identification of missing, blurred & contradicting information in the ITB and preparing pre-bid clarifications Quantity Take off from Drawings and preparing BOQ for Mechanical Works Preparation of Inquiry Package and ensuring all the supporting documents like item description, quantity, technical specification, drawings etc. are included. Sending inquiries to suppliers/vendors Providing clarification to technical & commercial queries by suppliers/vendors Preparing inquiry status & follow-up with suppliers Technical & Commercial evaluation of quotations; preparing comparison sheets Price negotiation with suppliers Lose Material & Accessories calculation and estimation Manpower calculation and labor cost estimation Preparing cost summary of Mechanical SOW Preparing conditions of offer pertaining to mechanical SOW Risk identification & Preparation of Risk Table Preparing technical offer as per tender documents Preparing mechanical manufacturers/suppliers list Building and keeping good relations with suppliers / vendors Coordination and providing input to other departments to arrange documents for submission to client like work schedule, cash flow, company certificates etc.Ensuring that Mechanical Cost Estimate is ready before BCD as per tender plan
