Position Summary:Bechtel is seeking an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Implementation Manager to be based with the SAMI Project Management Office & Business Integration (PMO & BI) team in Riyadh, KSA. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team to manage the deployment of ERP System at SAMI across all core modules of the system. You will report directly to the SAMI PMO & BI Director.Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) is a national holding company owned 100% by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), the sovereign wealth fund owned by the KSA. SAMI was established in 2017 to develop the military infrastructure necessary to support the Saudi Vision 2030 aim of localizing military spending to at least 50% by the end of the decade. It commenced operations in January 2018 and is considered a new start-up company within in KSA. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Saudi Work Visa and relocate to Riyadh on a full-time basis. If required, conduct business visits in the interim. Primary Responsibilities:· Take a lead role in managing the implementation of an ERP system including Finance, HR, Procurement, and Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) modules at corporate level.· Work closely with internal SAMI functions such as finance and procurement to evaluate how system changes will affect workflow, data, and reporting, and recommend appropriate business integration and implementation strategies. Assist in roll-out of these strategies.· Manage the ERP consulting team to ensure milestones and deliverables for all assigned tasks are completed on time, within budget and as planned. Identify and manage risks throughout the project.· Perform hands-on technical problem solving with leadership.· Provide subject matter expertise on the use of ERP for enterprise financial and business management.· Assist in the creation of process flows, work instruction, test scripts and end user training.· Support the development of high quality PMO & BI reports and studies for executive management e.g., enterprise operating reports, special studies, PMO information resources. Essential Skills & Qualifications:· Knowledge/skills/ability:o Significant experience in implementing an ERP system such as Oracle, SAP ERP or equivalent.o Knowledge of business operations, financial management, project management and project controls policies, processes and procedures, including reporting requirements with demonstrated skill in their application, ideally at a corporate group level and below.o Able to manage ERP consultants and set priorities, analyze problems and formalize effective solutions.o Excellent oral and written English language skills for effective executive-level communication.o Able to build successful stakeholder relationships at all levels of an organization.o Able to operate independently with minimal supervisory direction.· Education & Experience:o Bachelors degree in a Finance, Science or Engineering discipline.o Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the Project Management/Construction industry or, in lieu of a degree, 15 or more years of professional experience, including at the corporate, division, and/or business unit levels in a PMO, business services, management information or similar role.o Experience deploying and using ERP systems at project and corporate level for business and financial management planning, forecasting and reporting.o Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, and an advanced level of knowledge of interlinkages between finance, project controls, procurement and contracts work processes.o Experience in training, mentoring and developing others, including supporting Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) initiatives.Shaping tomorrow togetherBechtel is one of the most respected global engineering, construction, and project management companies.
