Your collaborative attitude and interpersonal skills will help you thrive as an Engineering Manager. The Senior Manager for the Technical Excellence (TE) team will lead the interface between the TE team and other excellence teams as well as with the projects leadershipResponsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the engineering team
  • Coordinate with the Portfolio team on project review requests
  • Assign project work load to the different disciplines team members according to project requirement
  • Endorse team?s assessment of project reviews, highlighting key issues that need to be critically addressed from a technical perspective
  • Administer best engineering practices by implementing procedures and guidelines to ensure that highest engineering standard is achieved.
  • Coordinate with other departments (master planning, project controls, etc.) regarding project reviews
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on TE performance
  • Assist the TE Director in preparing and presenting leadership reports
  • Participate in Technical Advisory Boards representing the excellence team as deemed necessary
  • Interview, evaluate and provide recruit recommendations for prospective candidates as and when required.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the department by creating tools like KPIs for performance measurement.
  • Evaluate the individual team members? performance through KPIs to contribute to the overall performance efficiency of the Department.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position, as may be appropriate.
