Engineer, Quality, Functional Forms Bergen op ZoomEngineer, Quality, Functional Forms Bergen op ZoomSABIC is now hiring an Engineer, Quality Functional Forms on the Bergen op Zoom Site Functional Forms (FF) manufacturers and sells high quality Lexan* film and sheet to customers around the world in a broad spectrum of industries and applications. These include building and construction, business machines, electrical and electronics, displays, aircraft, appliances, automotive, greenhouse, industrial roofing, medical, telecommunications, sign and packaging. The Engineer, Quality organize and lead continuous improvement of quality of products and associated processes for the FF BOZ production site. Business representative in customer visits, audits, and spokesperson if issues occur around our product quality. Setting of Product Specifications in cooperation with Customers and multidisciplinary team (MNF,T&I, PM, Sales)., Purpose & Responsibilities:* Establish, plan and communicate short & long term FF BOZ Quality objectives & associated system requirements for the BOZ FF plant and relevant functions * Collaborate with all levels of the organization to achieve the organizational goals & Customer Quality requirements including Sales, Product Management, Procurement, T&I, SCM etc. * Interact with the business and site in setting the strategic direction for the Quality units and manages all necessary operational activities/processes and procedures (e.g. ISO 9001 certification, internal audits, gap closures, verify RCCA, update and control of FMEA, complaints & effectiveness analyses, improvement projects, quality data management and ensure corrective actions) * Represent the FF BOZ MNF quality organization towards key customer/accounts concerning customer complaints and audits; support the commercial team * Oversee the New Product Introduction (NPP) for FF BOZ and is the liaison between T&I, manufacturing, supply chain procurement and very often the customer to meet flawless introduction in product processing and application performance. * Maintain regular contact and coordinate efforts with FF Europe Quality teams in ENK, WNS and OLG for the ISO9001 and ISCC certification * Initiate and lead root cause analysis through collaborative efforts ? e.g. Optical Defects. Completes the necessary follow-up with our operational team, updates procedures, and develops and delivers any necessary training, part of approval process for compensation requests by customers * Dealing with in-depth problems and topics for all different products, * Providing quality expertise in the daily operations of the unit, assist Operations in resolving quality issues. * By using SAP data, analyzing and allocating production losses, analyzing defect-recording reports to optimize the quality of our products, reduce the raw material usage, driving FPY and NPY targets beyond current levels. * Working close together with the Sr. Analyst Investment & Improvement, Engineer, Investment Projects and Engineer, Production Capability in order to improve technical reliability and stability, minimizing Asset availability losses based on OEE+ data. * Interfacing with the T&I team to improve processing conditions, material quality, support Direct Materials cost out initiatives.Requirements:* Bachelor and/or Master?s Degree or Equivalent (ideally Postgrad or equivalent) in Manufacturing, Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical and/or related Degree of study * A dynamic and enthusiastic personality with 3-5 years of experience in an operational environment. You have (or are capable) understanding of our products and manufacturing processes. * You have a high energy level and excellent interpersonal skills; you are able to provide people the information to perform their assigned roles. * Also you can give encouragement, guidance and direction to others to improve quality performance. * You are a valued player in our company and a positive representative of the team outside of the plant. * You know how to effectively use statistical tools for (SAP) data analysis and are able to collect relevant data to identify improvements or troubleshoot quality problems. * Excellent Conceptual, Communication and Analytical Skills * Fluency (both written and Oral) in English and good knowledge of Dutch (both written and Oral) Any additional European languages would be a bonus * Excellent presentation and network skills * Proficiency in IT/various connecting IT systems such as Office, SAP, reporting, etc * Ability to working in multi cultural and diverse environmentLocation: Bergen Op Zoom, The NetherlandsFurther InformationPlease apply online by sending us your CV and motivation letter in English.
