Job Description

The Electrician role is essential for ensuring the effective installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in high-rise buildings. This position requires adherence to established guidelines and safety protocols to ensure optimal performance and safety of electrical components. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing electrical tasks efficiently while minimizing downtime and maximizing operational effectiveness.Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely completion of electrical work orders and maintenance tasks.
  2. Complete tasks ahead of schedule to enhance operational efficiency.
  3. Implement strategies to prevent prolonged downtime of electrical systems.
  4. Maintain and inspect all electrical components to ensure they meet safety standards.
  5. Document and report on the status of electrical systems and maintenance activities.
  6. Collaborate with project teams to support electrical installations for new projects.
  7. Provide training and support to junior electricians and apprentices.
  8. Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly to minimize disruption.
  9. Stay informed about advancements in electrical technology and practices.
  10. Assist in developing maintenance schedules and budgets for electrical systems.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance for high-rise buildings.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in electrical project installations.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting.
  4. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  5. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
  6. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
  7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills to address electrical issues efficiently.
  10. Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
