Job Description

A leading construction company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Inspector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection within the construction industry. The Electrical Site Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical installations on construction sites.Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct inspections of electrical systems and installations on construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
  2. Review electrical drawings, specifications, and other project documents to identify any discrepancies or potential issues.
  3. Monitor and document the progress of electrical installations, including the installation of conduits, wiring, switches, and fixtures.
  4. Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems, including conducting insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and voltage drop tests.
  5. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
  6. Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns related to electrical installations.
  7. Provide technical guidance and support to electrical contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  8. Conduct regular site visits to monitor the quality and progress of electrical works and provide recommendations for improvements.
  9. Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical installations and ensure compliance on construction sites.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection within the construction industry.
  2. Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  3. Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues in electrical installations.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
  7. Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and software.
  8. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to different construction sites.
  9. Knowledge of Arabic language is a plus.
