Job Description

Role Purpose:The Electrical Senior Manager (ESM) will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Electrical systems for building handovers.The ESM will apply their in-depth knowledge in Electrical systems to ensure that the systems to be handed over are fully complete, operational and functioning as per their design.?This will entail a wide range of tasks including but not limited to the following:Key Work Activities:

  • Attend all testing and commissioning of Electrical infrastructure and main building components to ensure the overall systems are functioning and fully operational. Provide feedback to the KAFD development team on any observations during the system T&Cs as well as any other routine observations pre TOC.
  • Review and compile all related system submissions to the operations team within agreed timelines and compile the documents that can be transmitted back to the development team.
  • Provide all Electrical system status updates to the Transition Director on the progress on the ground, including confirmation of the expected date of system readiness to achieve TOC.
  • Coordinate with the KAFD development and constructions managers and contractors as needed.
  • Review partial planned handovers of buildings Electrical systems to confirm if any such proposal is practical for the partial operation of the buildings, noting that KAFD may wish partial handover of buildings.?
  • Present guidance and feedback to the development teams on the Electrical system status of individual buildings/parcels.?
  • Coordinate and plan with other Ops team members on the service delivery planning for Electrical systems pre TOC including assisting with the planning of PPM schedules and system management.?
  • Organize the inspection pre-handover to complete the operations snagging of the Electrical systems in all buildings.
  • Incorporate both the development and operations Electrical systems snags into a concise format to enable transmission to other ops team members.
  • Manage additional tasks assigned from to time relating to the overall KAFD management of the district.
