Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller Draughtsman with a strong background in the construction and building industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the flow of project documentation, as well as providing technical drafting support specifically tailored to the construction and building sector.ResponsibilitiesDocument Control

  • Receive, log, and distribute incoming project documentation (drawings, specifications, reports, etc.).
  • Track and manage the status of documents throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely and accurate distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain a well-organized and easily accessible document filing system.
  • Conduct regular audits of document control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Technical Drafting
  • Prepare and modify engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams (architectural, structural, , etc.) using CAD software.
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity of technical drawings as per construction industry standards.
  • Create and maintain as-built drawings and documentation.
  • Assist in the development of project documentation standards and templates.
General
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand their specific documentation needs in the construction and building industry.
  • Provide support to project teams in resolving document-related issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive project information.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, building codes, and best practices in document control and technical drafting.
