Job Purpose :Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Entrepreneurship will develop the overall Misk Entrepreneurship Strategy and oversee its implementation through the development of high-end partnerships and programs in order to create awareness and excitement about entrepreneurship with Saudi youth, build entrepreneurial capabilities from concept development to company formation, and link growing start-ups and established ventures with a rich ecosystem of potential national and international partners, clients, investors, universities, talent, experts and others. He/ she will establish Misk Entrepreneurship as a catalyst in the Saudi entrepreneurship ecosystem with the elevate, enrich and network the existing stakeholders by strategically entering into ?white spaces? and without creating overlaps to existing initiatives or mandates .Duties and Responsibilities: Entrepreneurship Strategy ? Develops Misk Fellowships strategy and calendar by translating Misk business strategy into a plan and cascading it across the different streams and operational roles? Leads development and significantly contribute to Misk?s Entrepreneurship strategy in support of a mid-term agenda to o Engage with 5,000 youth who will launch or grow their start-ups in the economy of the future o creating 5,000 jobs and 1B SAR funds raised? Translates Misk Entrepreneurship business strategy into a plan and cascading it across the different programs, such aso Misk Start-up Academy .o Misk Start-up Network, and Misk Non-Profit Accelerator? Takes responsibility for managing Misk Entrepreneurship towards (over)achieving annual OKRs and achieving the intended impactBudget ? Develops Misk Entrepreneurship budget in alignment to the annual business plan? Manages the financial performance of Misk Fellowships against budgets External Collaborations ? Collaborates with a broad range of relevant entities in Saudi Arabia and beyond, including but not limited to government agencies focusing on entrepreneurship and SME development, universities, accelerators and incubators, angel/early stage investors and venture capitalists, media and others.? Acts as the interface and first point of contact with similar entities in major entrepreneurial hubs (such as Silicon Valley) internationally and strategically connects them to the Saudi ecosystem Internal Collaborations ? Works with the internal marketing and communications teams to establish Misk Entrepreneurship as a known entity within Saudi Arabia and the broader region, and to highlight its mandate? Collaborates with business development and partnerships to identify, pursue and manage collaborations with key entities in Saudi Arabia and beyond? Leverages the Youth Hub as a central resource for participant experience, program awareness building and enrolment, participant and alumni management, as well as knowledge sharing .Alumni Relations and Community building? Ensures that Misk Entrepreneurship is in continuous close contact with its alumni to gather relevant feedback on its programs and to provide future participants with real-life testimonies from their predecessors, in order to build their trust and enable effective knowledge sharing mechanisms? Continues to build the Community of Misk Entrepreneurship alumni across cohorts and seniorities, to support the Saudi entrepreneurship ecosystem with knowledge, talents and networks .Logistics and Operations? Oversees the smooth running of logistics and administrative operations across Misk Entrepreneurship programs as per the set guidelines, legislations and procedures, to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations? Explore and pursue options for improving program scalability and cost-effectiveness, while balancing for impact and personal involvement .People Management ? Builds and leads a motivated, engaged and competent workforce throughout Misk Entrepreneurship, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback to meet the Misk Entrepreneurship?s challenges and goals? Hire and integrates external providers, experts and other stakeholders to raise the overall quality of the programsPolicies, Processes & Procedures ? Recommends improvements to departmental policy and directs the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of the department so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective output .Continuous Improvement ? Stimulates subordinates and contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering ?international best practice?, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement? Remains up to date with the latest developments in relevant fields such as grassroots entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial literacy programs, large-scale entrepreneurial community building, early stage/angel investment, incubators/accelerators, venture and growth investment, entrepreneurial networking and others.? Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.Qualifications & Requirements :? Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or any related field and an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized business school.? Over 12 years of experience in positions of progressively increased managerial responsibilities? Experience in strategic planning and execution, a strong visionary that can create value ? Experience in formulating, developing and implementing new strategies and procedures ? Demonstrated practical experience as an entrepreneur, investor, incubator/accelerator operator, or policy maker at a senior level? Strong network in the entrepreneurship community in Saudi Arabia, the Middle East and internationally? Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.? Ability to develop and deliver presentations to senior constituencies.? Managing strategic partnerships and alliances? Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in diverse geographies? Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects? High levels of written and verbal communication? Strong interpersonal skills and people management skills? Target orientation, drive for results and success, persistence despite obstacles and opposition .? Proficient in English and Arabic would be an asset
