DescriptionPosition at ACWA PowerDescriptionProvide input for the development and enhancement of the Risk Management processes and systems across ACWA Power businesses, and support their implementation.Provide support and mentorship to all entities in order to develop a risk culture and embed Risk Management across ACWA Power.Contribute to the development and ensure operational leadership of the Risk Management process from development phase to operations, across the portfolio of ACWA Power, in support of Regional Risk Managers.Liaise with Regional Risk Managers to allow a global integrated view of risks with a portfolio perspective, and adequate reporting and treatment at corporate level.Identify and train risk champions across each relevant entity to build a risk culture at all levels of the organisation.Lead Risk Management workshops where required to ensure that relevant risks are identified, assessed and mitigation plans are built and implemented, ensuring critical risks are managed in a planned and structured manner.Contribute to risk analyses in close relation with the Business Development, Portfolio Management, and O&M Business Units.Contribute to risk analyses in close relation with the Enabling Functions.Assist in the development of risk responses in conjunction with risk owners, and risk champions.Follow-up and support Management and department heads on the implementation of Risk Management.Create timely risk reports that convey the results of risk analyses performed, and ensure timely escalation of most critical risks.Policies, Processes, Systems & ProceduresImplement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures, and ensure adherence so that work is carried out to the required standardContinuous ImprovementContribute in the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes, and projects in line with the organisation?s standards.Keep abreast of the latest regulations and leading practices in the field and evaluate their relevance and from an ACWA Power perspective.Related AssignmentsPerform other related duties or assignments as directed.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:Minimum Qualifications:Master Degree in Engineering or Management from a reputed university or schoolMinimum Experience:10 to 15 years? experience post qualification experience, including at least 10 years? experience of implementation of Risk Management with strong hands on practice and management of a team.Extensive experience and know-how of Risk Management, in a management role, encompassing business development, tendering, project finance and contract, project execution, operations and maintenance.Experience in a similar industry desirable.Strong Project Management and multi-tasking skills.
