Job Description

A leading equipment distributor, rental and aftersales provider in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia seeks experienced diesel mechanics. The main responsibilities are as below:

  • Must be fully conversant with large (up to 1500 HP) medium speed (1800 RPM) Diesel Engines typically used in Diesel Generators.
  • The diesel mechanic should and be able to do all the repair task on a heavy vehicle including replacement of brakes and oil.
  • Diagnose all mechanical failure symptoms.
  • Able to perform engine and gearbox overhaul including differential dismantling and assembling housing and planetary disc.
  • Able to repair or replace clutch, pressure plate and replace diesel fuel pump.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of engine operation and systems i.e., Air, Fuel, Governor, Oil, Cooling, Exhaust System, etc. and repair of engine components, i.e., Fuel Injector, Water Pump, Fuel Pump, Turbochargers, Blowers, etc.
  • Must possess knowledge of engine tune up and troubleshooting steps and procedures.
