Job Description

Water Treatment engineer.We are looking for a Design Water treatment ?Engineer with relevant experience in the field of water treatment plant projectsResponsibilities:-

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the wastewater industry.
  • Prepare the required design drawings, Calculations, and reports.
  • Apply sound knowledge of the latest international and SBC codes and make use of engineering required software.
  • Has successfully carried out at least one similar project in the past.
  • Good knowledge of assessment of hydraulic capacities of pipelines, treatment plants, structures, and pumping stations in wastewater-related projects.
  • Good knowledge of Hydraulic software used in the wastewater industry.
  • Design for Industrial Wastewater treatment process technology (Screening, DAF Unit, Attached Growth Activated sludge process, and others).
  • Develop for PFD, PID, and Plant Layout Drawings.
  • Develop Tender documents include technical specifications, General conditions, and B.O.Q for MOW governmental water projects.
  • Selection & Sizing of process equipment.
  • Development of process simulations.
  • Development Water Plant Material balance calculation.
  • Development of Equipment Datasheets / Instrumentation datasheet.
  • Design & Develop for Waste Water Management System.
  • Water/wastewater infrastructure design that includes permitting, grading, hydraulic design, erosion control, storm drainage, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems.
  • Works directly with clients to determine needs and provide solutions, and then manages the client?s expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support and preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.
  • Support and preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Experience in design, construction administration, (Desalination R.O, MBR Technology, Activated Sludge process, Submerged Aerated Bio Filter process, SBR, and others).
  • Maintain continuous quality control on all drawings produced under the section, ensuring that they adhere to quality standards (e.g. high standards of visual presentation, error-free, properly dimensioned, x-referenced, etc.).
