Job Description

Database Administrator L3 - Managed ServicesLocation: Riyadh, KSARole Type: PermanentDescriptionThe proposed position will be for a member of a managed services technical team, which is responsible Data Base Administration, functions and services related issues (operations, 3rd & 2nd level support).The engineer will be working in a group of IT experts locally and within multiple projects to cover the required services functionalities and availability.Role and Responsibilities

  • Requires travelling based on work needs, when not on site, Engineers will be assisting in the development of project plans, designs and documentation for future sites.
  • Monitor and˙analyse˙database performance and ensure effective and efficient utilization of database systems/processes.
  • Organizing and managing the database archiving process.
  • Build data infrastructure such as tables and indexes by communicating with the development team.
  • Impalement security and encryption.
  • Create shell scripts for task automation.
  • Analyse, consolidate and tune database for optimal efficiency.
  • Monitor database performance and solve its issues.
  • Monitor database users and ensure from efficiency of the permissions.
  • Develop database utilities and automated reporting.
  • Design and document database architecture & Data˙Modelling.
  • Design Data Warehousing (SSAS, Azure Data Factory) and Business Intelligence platform.
