SummaryResponsible for routine database management tasks including database tuning and health checks. This will result in secure, well-functioning databases that will provide users with the data needed to make good decisions.Essential Responsibilities and Duties1.Performs database cloning, replication, and migrations as necessary.2.Backs up databases on the predefined schedule and perform database recoveries when needed.3.Maintains database software assets in compliance with supporting 3rd party vendor requirements.4.Performs regular health check of all databases as well as continuous database tuning.5.Implements new database solutions as required under the supervision of the Senior Analyst.6.Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.7.Participate in self & others education, training and development, as applicable.8.Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.9.Performs other related duties as assigned.EducationMaster?s or Bachelor?s Degree in computer science or related discipline is required.Experience RequiredOne (1) year of related experience with Master?s Degree, or three (3) years of related experience with Bachelor?s Degree is required.Other Requirements(Certificates)N/A
