  • Provide oversight and SME input to the design, build and implementation of data protection technology tools that support the Information Protection strategy, objectives and operational requirements.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the current data protection controls
  • Identify and implement mitigation controls/plans for the identified gaps
  • Build and implementation of technology tools that support the Information Protection strategy, objectives and operational requirements.
  • Deploy and administer the DLP tools including configuring policies and reporting.
  • Monitor the use of the tools and ensure a consistent process of improvement is in place.
  • Understand and follow the incident response process
  • Monitor and respond to DLP related alerts
  • Perform operational data classification and asset inventory according to the established information security policy
  • Perform data discovery to ensure that sensitive data is accessible by only authorized users based on the data classification and protection policies
  • Ensure data leakage policies applied across the organization while using Web, Email, File Storage and Endpoints applications
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws and regulations
  • Provide recommendations to improve the data protection compliance
  • Ensure alignment with the IT Technology and Security Technology Strategy
