We continue to attract top global talent and nurture a culture for bold ambitions, shooting for the moon, innovation with tight constraints, and being Careem.About the TeamCareem Ride Hailing Strategy & Planning is a key group supporting our Super App ambition, and continues to scale and grow exponentially across markets.The Sr. Business Analyst will report into the Ride Analytics heals within RH, while part of Strategy & Planning, the candidate will work closely with cross functional teams and geographies.What youll doThe Sr. Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the analytics arm of the Ride Hail group, with a focus on automation that brings efficiencies to new / existing processes across all regions Careem operates in. Additionally also lead in the creation of performance driven insights, that support stakeholders across the group, and presenting findings.Key responsibilities include:

• Support with creating key business metrics and analyses that powers business decisions
• Translate data into insights in clear, concise and actionable presentations/reports to guide business decision
• Optimize & automate queries that feed into dashboards and reports to bring efficiencies into day-to-day analytics requests
• Create new data platforms where needed to unlock new types of insights
• Design and structure data from source tables to rollup into data warehouses that can be consumed easily to answer key business questions and problem statements.

What youll needThe team is looking for an enthusiastic and driven professional who is excited about supporting the creation of a self-serve styled platform that support Ride Hailing division to create amazing insights, With the main focus on structuring the data, building processes, along with strong automation background to pull it all together.understanding the business context and nuances, translating business asks to analytics requests, lead the analysis and derive business insights.The ideal candidate would be someone who:

• Has 3-4 years of work experience in analytics roles in a high-growth tech startup or similar data-heavy, product environments
• Is able to structure / source data into data warehouse, and automate processes that support business
• Is able to translate and communicate data into simple conclusions and business actions
• Is excited to get their hands dirty and conduct analyses themselves when needed

Tech skills needed:

• Proficient in Tableau and SQL (with 2-3 yr professional experience)
• Conversant in Sheets/Slides (MS/Google environments)
• Experience with Python or similar data programing language
