We?re a team of dedicated people driving this mission by providing better, faster, and cheaper ways to access food through technology.Role overviewTo work along the R&D team and help scale our recipes while maintaining the flavor and high quality standards along with providing training to the kitchen team.The successful candidate will employ their culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role maintaining and enhancing our customers? satisfaction.Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and scaling new recipes while ensuring that the flavor and quality standards are maintained
  • Train the kitchen team to prepare new recipes
  • Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
  • Must be able to clearly communicate tasks to team members
  • Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
  • Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
Ideal CandidateQualifications
  • Must have had previous experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef
  • Must have 8 years of experience within the hospitality and catering industry
  • Must be a proficient communicator in English
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility is a plus
Knowledge and competency
  • Has had team leading experiences and would be able to train the kitchen team
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
  • Create and maintain an efficient, hygienic, and positive working environment
  • Display good work ethic, resourcefulness, and organization
  • Must be able to work under pressure and manage time accordingly
  • Ensure quality control and efficient workflow
  • Strong time-management skills
