Responsible for establishing policies and procedures for the cost control department.Establishing rules and methodologies according to the owners requirements on costreporting.Responsible for the compliance and implementation of Cost Control Department-relatedpolicies and procedures.Managing the cost control team, training them and employing more cost control staff asrequired.Discussing and agreeing on the budgets for the Projects with the budgeting departmentand the Project managers.Providing all necessary cost information requested to projects management to assistthem and to share with them managing the budgets and profits.Reviewing and endorsing projects expenditures incurred in line with the approvedbudgets.Preparing and submitting the cost reports to the higher management on a monthly basis.Presenting periodical internal Dashboard reports with discussion on Cost Report issuesand proposing the preventive and corrective actions. In addition, taking the directivesfrom the higher management presented in the dashboard.Submitting consultation of the cost analysis at the Project?s completion date, explainingthe Cost Deviation Report and advising the concerned departments about the deviationcauses and how to avoid the re-occurrence of such deviation in the upcoming projects.Supporting and providing historical actual cost data to the tendering department to getbenefits of the lessons learned
