Coordinator - ERP

Job Description

The Applications/ ERP coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing all activities pertaining to ALNAKHLA?s systems/ERP/applications, full project life cycle of solutions within the Application, Infor platform and integrations with any 3rd party applications.ÿHe will coordinate with Information Technology staff and End Users on requested ERP/Application customizations, and will review the technical requirements to design, test, implement, and maintain a solution.

• Maintain/Develop and supervise the administration and maintenance of critical systems/ERP/applications currently running at ALNAKHLA.
• Review and oversee applications functional/technical specifications coordinate vendor solution reviews and participate in the solution selection recommendation.
• Participate in applications implementation, facilitate training workshops of applications to users and follow up on the resolution of functional/technical issues.
• Analyze and review application designs, business process review, operating procedures and training materials which are related to implementing applications projects.
• Manage post implementation support functions, including overall applications functions, stability and performance, on-going incremental upgrades and functional expansions.
• Undertake a post implementation review to confirm whether the expected benefits have been delivered and realized.
• Manage and develop the webpage of ALNAKHLA, maintain regular updates and develop any additional modules required, Collaborate with Information Technology staff and End User on business requirements and technical requirements to identify, evaluate, and develop effective and efficient solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in ALNAKHLA during system/application implementation tasks.
• Safeguard and secure critical systems/applications through appropriate hardware and software periodical maintenance and checkups.
• Work with both users and vendors to provide higher-level support in response to user problems and questions regarding system/application functionality, operations, input/output, reporting and general operational procedures.
• Follow and repair incidents in the incident tracking report detailing solution to use if the problem appears again in the future.
• Maintain detailed understanding of the automated files, processes, and interfaces and touch points that impact ALNAKHLA systems.
• Review system enhancements requirements. Provide support relating to application enhancement requests, changes, difficulties and requirement definitions.
• Coordinate and perform testing as required and maintain test scripts relating to the testing process. Test new systems to enhance the users ability to troubleshoot problems and to correct errors.
• Identify training needs for systems / applications users.
• Maintain application?s setup, maintenance and upgrades on a consistent and timely basis.
• Learn current applications (version nearing release and new ones to follow quickly), learn new functionalities in new releases and participate in the evolutionary advancement of applications capabilities.
• Take full ownership of systems/applications running file and bug fixes for critical applications.
• Keep track of domain name and application license registrations to ensure that they do not expire.
• Upgrade applications by performing: developing, testing, evaluating and installing enhancements and new software.
• Maintain ERP/APP system performance reports by performing system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting system hardware, software, to load/stress test and escalate problems to vendors. He provides these reports to the Officer, Applications.
• Secure ERP/APP system by developing system access, monitoring, control and evaluation while establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
