  • Administer and managing the contracts lifecycle from pre-bid stage to project execution and warranty phases
  • Responsible for the timely preparations of legal and contractual documents such as Request for Proposal (RFP) and other legal or contractual or tender package as required
  • Carry out the pre-award activities including pre-award schedules, provide advertisement for tenders and participates in the pre-award meetings, evaluates, and negotiates a bid.
  • Advises on contractual matters at the project level about the strategy for and the conduct and recoding of contract pre-award negotiations.
  • Prepare initial contract review, organize contract induction meetings, issue reports, interpretations and assessments on contracts.
  • Administration of the construction contract and timely issuance of notifications, monitoring of milestones and payment in cooperation with the project team.
  • Monitoring, drafting and reviewing all contractual correspondence between Systra and sub consultants.
  • Verifying that all insurances and guarantees required are in place and maintained.
  • Carry out contractual change management process like but not limited to drafting and review of change orders, claims, back charges and penalties, defense of incoming claims
  • Preparation, drafting and management of notices, Contract Risk Registers, Claims and Compensation events logs.
  • Co-ordination and act as liaison with the technical, finance, legal, project team and subconsultants to mitigate and/or resolve possible disputes.
DegreesBachelor degree in Civil engineeringOther degreesTechnical skills
  • Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying with suitable contractual, legal or commercial background
  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar capacity
  • Demonstrable expertise in Contracts Administration for high value contracts
  • Good knowledge and experience in FIDIC
  • Proficient in MS Applications, particularly Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook
Personal qualities
  • Well versed in contracts / agreements: principles, theory and application, terminology and development as well as practices and procedures
  • Experience with claims management and arbitration support
  • Ethical, credible, and commercially astute
  • Able to work independently and work under pressure
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritise work with target-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Experience in KSA as a consultant will be preferred
