Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract & Cost Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Contract & Cost Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of contracts and costs for our organization. This includes negotiating and drafting contracts, monitoring project costs, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation and drafting to execution and close-out.
  2. Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  3. Negotiate and amend contracts as necessary, ensuring that all parties understand and agree to the terms.
  4. Monitor project costs and budget, ensuring that expenses are within budget and identifying any potential cost overruns.
  5. Track and manage change orders, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and approved.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve any contract disputes or issues.
  7. Ensure compliance with contract deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics.
  8. Prepare and present reports on contract performance, including cost analysis and cost forecasting.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in contract management and cost control.
  10. Provide guidance and support to junior staff members on contract and cost management processes and procedures.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum 10 years of experience in contract and cost management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  2. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
  3. Strong knowledge of contract law and contract management principles.
  4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
  6. Proven track record of successfully managing contracts and controlling costs.
  7. Proficient in contract management software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  8. Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide accurate cost forecasts.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  10. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
