Roles & ResponsibilitiesPD Design ? KSA Mall Project VacanciesPD Design is hiring experienced professionals for major shopping mall projects in Saudi Arabia.1. Retail MEP EngineerResponsibilitiesReview tenant mechanical and electrical designs, calculations, shop drawings, and material submittals.Verify utility loads and landlord provisions.Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire alarm, and firefighting requirements.Conduct inspections and monitor fit-out compliance.Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, handover, and store-opening readiness.Maintain technical comments, trackers, and progress reports.RequirementsBachelor?s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Relevant mall, retail fit-out, or commercial-project experience.Knowledge of Saudi codes and applicable international standards.Saudi Council of Engineers registration is preferred.2. Retail Delivery ManagerResponsibilitiesManage tenants from initial briefing through fit-out, handover, and store opening.Lead tenant meetings and coordinate design, MEP, construction, and landlord requirements.Monitor submissions, approvals, site progress, permits, risks, and opening dates.Coordinate with tenants, contractors, leasing, operations, facilities, and HSE teams.Prepare progress reports and recovery plans for delayed tenants.Oversee testing, snagging, close-out, and opening readiness.RequirementsDegree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or similar.Proven mall, retail fit-out, or tenant-delivery experience.Strong stakeholder-management, reporting, and problem-solving skills.Landlord-, developer-, consultant-, or PMC-side experience is preferred.3. Retail Design ManagerResponsibilitiesReview tenant concept, schematic, detailed, and construction designs.Review layouts, shopfronts, signage, finishes, lighting, and material proposals.Ensure compliance with landlord design criteria and mall design standards.Coordinate architectural requirements with MEP, fire-life-safety, and operational teams.Conduct design meetings and site inspections.Monitor design approvals, changes, snagging, and store-opening readiness.RequirementsBachelor?s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Architectural Engineering.Strong mall, retail-design, or commercial-interior experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit and other design software are advantageous.Strong design-review, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.General RequirementsKSA or GCC mall experience is preferred.Strong English communication skills; Arabic is advantageous.Candidates must be willing to work from the assigned KSA mall project office.Saudi Council of Engineers registration is preferred where applicable.Desired Candidate ProfileRelevant bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.Proven experience in shopping malls, retail fit-out, tenant coordination, or commercial developments.Strong technical knowledge relevant to the position applied for.Able to coordinate effectively with clients, tenants, consultants, contractors, and mall operations teams.Capable of managing multiple tenants, submissions, priorities, and deadlines.Strong communication, reporting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Familiar with KSA regulations, Saudi Building Code, landlord criteria, and project procedures.Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant design, engineering, or project-management software.Saudi Council of Engineers registration is preferred where applicable.KSA or GCC project experience is strongly preferred.Currently based in KSA or willing to relocate and work from the assigned Riyadh mall project office.Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.Professional, organized, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
