Job Description

A global retailer is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer with 2 to 4 years of Construction experience to take up the role of Construction Coordinator.You will report to the Director of Construction and will be based out of their Riyadh Headquarters.Your role will be to coordinate, support, and assist in managing the projects activities of all new store?s construction, and remodeling of operating stores in order to ensure project targets are met as per the project plan, and contract.

  • Prepare and communicate construction cost estimation for new stores.
  • Coordinate and monitor the Site Survey and Layout Design.
  • Follow up on construction sites, shipping details, deadlines, and scheduled deliveries.
  • Coordinate order and arrange the installation of the Scrolling Menu board for new and existing stores in collaboration with the contractor.
  • Regularly update, construction costs, quarterly contractors, and forecast maintenance service.
  • Coordinate and provide support in day-to-day activities of the Director and Engineers, in addition to implementing and executing the construction-related guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate negotiation, payment verification, and certification of consultants and contractors against the terms and conditions.
  • Review contractors? schedules, progress reports, progress payments, create overall progress schedules, and track contractors? invoices.
  • Coordinate with the Government relationship department to timely submit, follow-up, and secure licenses for new restaurants.
  • Coordinate and submit applications to authorities and landlords for the signage order of new and existing stores in order to process and arrange contractor for installation of sign and license numbers.
  • Prepare required documents to secure the municipality approvals.
  • Conduct an annual audit of operating stores to identify, and assess desired renovation requirements at stores.
  • Coordinate and support annual audits of construction-related payments in collaboration with the Finance and Accounting department.
