Determines equipment requirements and the method and sequences of operation to be followed in fabrication of parts using materials such as graphite, fiberglass, plastic, epoxy resins, rubber and like materials.
Optimizing ply geometry layers using CAD Softwares.
Engage in short term projects within the team on a variety of materials.
Help with the day to day organisation of the composite development area.
Help maintain a safe work environment.
Familiarity with common shop tools such as band saws, disk sanders, drill press, wood lathe, May require respirator certification.
Route, drill, trim and sand to blueprint dimensions and tolerances.
