These values are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver.  We invite you to apply to become part of this very important transportation project and deliver this railway system to the residents of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Summary:BACS seeks an enthusiastic and experienced communications professional to manage an internal communications program for the Riyadh Metro Project in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be a strong writer with experience in employee communications in a fast-paced environment for diverse non-manual and craft populations including employees with no access to computers. Duties will include managing and development of written and electronic communications to support senior leadership communications; safety and quality campaigns; project storytelling; construction updates; and motivational or engagement campaigns. Job Dimensions:Supervision Received:

• Receives operational guidance from BACS Project Director.
• Receives functional guidance from Bechtels Infrastructure Manager of Communications.

 Supervision Exercised:

• Manages development of small projects, products, or events. 

Contacts:

• Maintains frequent contact with site management, BACS, and customer communications mangers. 
• Maintains contact with photographers, graphics, and multimedia producers.

 Job requirements General:

• The job location is Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• This position is not expected to involve travel.

 Skills ·        Proven experience as communications specialist.·        Experience in web design and content production.·        Experience in copywriting, interviewing and editing.·        Working knowledge of MS Office products, photo / image editing software, and other graphics software.·        Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.·        Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.·        Proficient command of English. Responsibilities·        Develop effective corporate communication strategies.·        Manage internal communications (memos, regular workforce newsletters etc)·        Draft content for company website, posters, presentations, and other internal media.·        Organize initiatives and plan events, including stewardship activities, stakeholder engagement, team building exercises and all-hands meetings.·        Supports dissemination of proactive stories about milestones, accomplishments, stewardship, or community activities.·        Foster relationships with advocates and key persons.·        Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership. Grade 25: Skilled in the external affairs, media relations, public affairs, communications, and/or community affairs profession.Previous work experience and/or specialized training in journalistic writing techniques. Grade 26:Considerable background in external affairs, media relations, public affairs, communications and/or community affairs.Previous work experience and/or specialized training in journalistic writing and interviewing techniques.Basic supervisory and leadership skills.Shaping tomorrow togetherBechtel is one of the most respected global engineering, construction, and project management companies.
