Job Description

Commercial ManagerIf you are a talented and experienced Commercial Manager looking for a new role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, we want to hear from you. This full-time role comes with an excellent salary and benefits package.Type of contractPermanentGradeEngineerArea of ExpertiseCitiesRegionMiddle East, India and AsiaOffice / Project LocationRiyadhRef No5885In this Commercial Manager role, you will provide input into the development of business strategies and cost plans, QS-type support, the management of stakeholders, in the area of resources, schedules, financials or other key inputs required by the clients. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. What will you be doing?To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Project start-up, development and implementation of procurement, commercial and contractual procedures and protocols to suit client requirements
  • Support feasibility studies with cost estimates, benchmarking, whole life costing, being able to articulate and document key cost drivers, constraints, risks and cost exclusions
  • Interact with internal team and all stakeholders
  • Prepare, review, update and advise on estimate and budget for consultant services and/or construction works
  • Review warranties, bonds, insurances, and guarantees for compliance
What will you bring?To succeed, you should have gained a Bachelor?s degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or a related field and have a membership of Professional Body (RICS) and Professional Management. Other essential requirements include but arent limited to:
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Good IT and mathematical skills
  • A proven ability to manage time, demonstrating a highly organised approach to work, and customer service
  • The ability to discuss technical or commercial subjects at the macro and micro with seamless transition
  • A flexible approach to meeting client expectations, yet confident enough to manage challenges, differing opinions and external influence
