Duties and ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryResponsible for supporting the provision of Cardiac Nursing Programs (Graduate and Post-graduate) for Saudi registered nurses provided by PSCC.Assists the Deputy Director for Nursing Education and Clinical Educator with the provision of Cardiac Nursing Programs. Facilitates communication with appropriate nursing units and other departments that assist education delivery and/or support graduate and post-graduate student placements.˙Demonstrates advanced knowledge base in the field of adult and paediatric cardiac nursing and the ability to transmit and extend that knowledge. Teaches program content and provides an effective learning experience that engages attendees. Demonstrates ability to teach in a variety of environments such as: classroom, clinical, simulation and laboratory and to use appropriate teaching aids effectively.Facilitates the ongoing professional development of Saudi nurses and supports preceptorship of Saudi graduate nurses and post-graduate students in trainingEducation/LicensureEssential:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Bachelor Degree in NursingEssential:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Current licensure (RN) with a nursing governing body from the employee?s country of origin.Essential:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Licensed with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Specialist.Essential:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙BLS certification.Desirable:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Post-graduate cardiac nursing and/or nursing education qualification.Professional ExperienceEssential:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Five (5) years cardiac-related nursing experience working in a medium to large size health care facility with 3 years in a Nurse Educator role.Desirable:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Recent cardiac ICU nursing experience.
