Job Description

SummaryProvides functional and logistical assistance to support clinical departments? daily operations.Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Participates in Patient reception duties.
  2. Assists patients in understanding instructions from health care providers.
  3. Assists in translating Arabic/English information for health providers and healthcare recipients.
  4. Maintains cleanliness of the unit equipment and other areas related to patient care.
  5. Delivers and collects supplies and equipment to/from clinical care areas, clinical engineering, warehouse, etc. as request.
  6. Orders warehouse stock items and special purchase requests.
  7. Maintains records of supplies and equipment for inventory purposes.
  8. Complies requested data and statistics and generates reports.
  9. Assists clinical staff in routine duties as directed, including but not limited to assisting with stocking supplies, limited clerical functions and minor end-user maintenance procedures as defined for the section.
  10. Ensures correct procedures are followed for all aspects of safety as established in the department, including safe disposal of samples.
  11. Assists with orientation of new staff.
  12. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.
  13. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.
EducationBachelor?s or Associate Degree/Diploma in Clinical, Scientific, or Administrative filed, or High School Education is required.Experience RequiredNo experience required with Bachelor?s Degree, one (1) year of related coordination/assistance experience with Associate Degree/Diploma or three (3) years with High School Education is required.Other Requirements(Certificates)
  • Formal training in any related discipline is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical supplies including Oracle process is preferred.
  • Saudi Nationals Only.
