Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Civil Senior Purchaser to join our team and play a vital role in securing the best materials and services at competitive prices for our projects.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for civil engineering projects,˙considering cost,˙quality,˙and timely delivery.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers for materials and services,˙including building materials,˙equipment rentals,˙transportation,˙and specialized services.
  • Source and qualify new suppliers,˙evaluating their capabilities,˙pricing,˙and reliability.
  • Obtain competitive bids and negotiate favorable terms for materials and services.
  • Monitor and manage purchase orders,˙ensuring accurate delivery and invoicing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities,˙including contracts,˙invoices,˙and supplier performance data.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through negotiation,˙sourcing alternatives,˙and efficient procurement processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers,˙engineers,˙and other internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
  • Stay updated on market trends,˙new materials,˙and technologies within the civil engineering and construction sector.
