Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, such as roads, bridges, buildings, and infrastructure. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while meeting all safety and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting site investigations and surveys to assess project feasibility and determine design parameters.
  2. Preparing detailed engineering plans, designs, and specifications.
  3. Managing project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed within allocated resources.
  4. Supervising and inspecting construction work to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  5. Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop project plans and resolve design issues.
  6. Performing calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and efficiency.
  7. Preparing and submitting permit applications and documents to regulatory authorities.
  8. Reviewing and approving contractor submittals, including shop drawings and material samples.
  9. Conducting quality control inspections to ensure construction materials and workmanship meet project requirements.
  10. Providing technical support and guidance during project construction.
  11. Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience working on construction projects, preferably in infrastructure or building design.
  3. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software.
  4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  6. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with professionals from different disciplines.
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  9. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  10. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
