Laboratory Chief Technician is responsible for supervises and control the day to day Laboratory activities to provide prompt, proficient and quality service in support of patient care.
Provides professional leadership required to assure the services are timely, coordinated and adhere to established rules, procedures, instructions and quality controls, and has full responsibility for the use, care and control of the equipment, reagent and supplies, staff scheduling and use of personnel.
Organizes quality control testing of specimens through different sections of laboratory as per national or international standard.
