Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will play a crucial role in managing our financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing accurate financial reports to the management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  2. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  3. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
  4. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  5. Monitor and analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations.
  6. Manage the budgeting and forecasting process.
  7. Prepare and review financial documents and reports for tax purposes.
  8. Supervise and train accounting staff.
  9. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions.
  10. Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA.
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  5. Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Experience in managing a team is preferred.
