Job Description

Our esteemed real estate company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to lead our accounting department and drive excellence in all financial matters. As Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting and reporting, ensuring business compliance with all regulatory requirements, and driving the continuous improvement of our financial operations. The successful candidate will be passionate about accuracy, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and people management skills.Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the accounting and financial reporting functions of the company
  • Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial audits, tax returns, and other compliance requirements
  • Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and operations departments to provide business insights and decision support
  • Develop and manage the accounting team, including setting goals, providing feedback and development, and ensuring team performance and productivity.
