They are urgently seeking 5x experienced Business Domain Analyst for the bank on a long-term basis. (1-3 Years)Role BriefThe Business Domain Analyst (BDA) will be primarily responsible for engaging with business, understanding their Information and Analytical requirements and delivering the same to expectation, working in coordination with the Information Management (IM) team.The BDA will be expected to articulate and translate business requirements into specific data elements that the information management team can understand and use to assess the effort involved.The BDA will be SPOC for the BICC team to interface with the business group and will extend full support to the decision support and business support teams in fulfilling the needs of the users.Though the primary support is for Retail Banking Group, he may be expected to support any customer group as may be decided by the Decision Support Lead from time to time. The other customer groups are Corporate Banking, Risk Management, Group Finance, Operations & Shared Services, Treasury, FI & Market Risk and Marketing & Digital.The candidate should possess an overall good understanding of retail banking business, its critical data elements, data structures & data models, reporting styles, and work together with the BICC and business teams to deliver required outputs.This individual must be passionate about solving problems, always looking for breakthrough ideas. He would be responsible to guide the teams to design, develop and deliver value-added reporting & analysis solutions to the Business. The candidate would be expected to be a hands-on person.?? He should be a team player, working collaboratively to seamlessly deliver on the end user expectations.Key Accountabilities1.Clearly understand business requirements, and provide critical inputs where required2.Assist in creating and enforcing an operational/service level agreement with the business group3.Ensuring the timely, accurate formalization of requirements, and delivery of reports as per SLAs agreed upon4.Institute processes that enable delivery of tasks per SLA. For new requirements / Ad-hoc requests, agree on expected timelines with business and articulate dependencies5.Develop a thorough understanding of business and the underlying performance drivers. Analyze trends, perform variance analyses with commentaries6.Build a healthy working relationship with the user groups and win their confidence7.Determine methods / tools to report on product level / segment level profitability & ROE analyses8.Agree on definitions of various business terms to establish common grounds of understanding. Document in Glossary and socialize the same internally9.Continuously strive to deliver improvements in data, processes and analytical outputs10.Support BICC in delivering team goals and objectives11.Work with IM teams to Develop, Test, and roll out successful data driven solutions for the business12.Ensure timeliness and accuracy of numbers generated by the team. Ensure numbers are in sync with Financial reporting13.Assisting the manager / other teams in key business projects14.Help identify analytics use cases15.Review/develop test cases and assist with SIT/ UATs
