Local Riyadh (@localrydh) ? a fast-growing online media platform creating cutting edge content on trending news, places to go, and things to do, primarily geared towards Millennials and Gen Z of Riyadh ? is looking to onboard a Business Development Manager, with a track record of achieving sales targets, preferably within the media and advertising space (or with relevant B2B sales experience).Local Riyadh is part of the Local Media Group, with a strong presence in Bahrain and UAE, that collectively achieves close to 40 million impressions - per month - across all channels.The ideal candidate must demonstrate an excellent command of English and Arabic, and have a strong network of contacts within the Riyadhs business community, in addition to possessing a good sense of the publications audience and knowledge of the local scene.The candidate is expected to possess strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work comfortably under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and manage a growing team of sales personnel. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to business growth and development, such as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, conducting market research, and creating business proposals.
