Job Description

Will be responsible for generating and driving revenue growth by selling logistics solutions, such as warehousing, transportation, and distribution services, to businesses. Need to expand the companys market presence by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones.Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new clients by understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored 3PL services.
  • Collection: Ensure timely collection of outstanding of all 3PL and 2PL customers as per the agreed terms.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries, negotiations, and service delivery.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities within the logistics sector.
  • Proposal and Contract Management: Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, ensuring the negotiation process aligns with company goals and policies and ensure closure of contracts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, finance) to ensure smooth execution of logistics services and meet client expectations.
  • Performance Tracking: Track sales metrics, forecasts, and performance against targets, reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the companys services.
  • Customer Retention: Manage relationships with existing clients, focusing on retention and upselling additional services.
