Tasks and Responsibilities1-Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction. 2- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these. 3- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business. 4- Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational change. 5- Conduct research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets. 6- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients. 7- Promote the company?s products/services addressing or predicting clients? objectives. 8- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines. 9- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc. 10- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support. 11- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers. 12- Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople. 13- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills. 14- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones. 15- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events. 16- Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met. 17- help to plan sales campaigns. 18- create a sales pipeline. 19- develop the business sales and marketing strategy. 20- carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management/the board of director. 21- negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases. 22- increase sales of the business. 23- seek ways of improving the way the business operates.
