Job Description

The Business Analyst is expected to be a key part of the Program / project delivery teams for delivering strategic transformation initiatives to our Banking clients. This role will be responsible for understanding and aligning the expectations of the clients and translate them into meaningful and tangible deliverables that will serve as an input for the technical delivery teams. The role is expected to have experience in articulating workflows, operational processes, system processes and have a good understanding of the high level system architecture.Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in banking and/or financial services IT
  • Business consultant involving Knowledge of Banking with Expertise in one or more of the following areas- Lending, Payments & Cards, Trade Finance, Core Banking systems, etc.
  • Good knowledge of regulatory guidelines
  • Should have core product or lending product lifecycle experience and good understanding of product functionalities
  • Preferably taken part in Banking in any form or manner in corporate / banks
  • Experienced in delivering complex solution for Banks and financial institutions
  • Experience with lending, credit, and/or banking product management
  • Experience with business analysis methodologies and applicable IT architectures
  • Experienced in stakeholder management
  • Should have strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexible and constructively critical attitude, strong analytic mind-set, result oriented
  • Experience in agile environment
Key Requirements:
  • Education: Post Graduate (MBA) preferable
  • Experience: 5- 10 years as functional consultant in banks, consultancy firms or IT firms
  • Domain: Retail and / or corporate banking
  • Certifications (preferred): Certified Business Analyst, Scrum / agile, Project Management, any other relevant certification
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral, presentation)
  • Arabic speaking is an advantage
