Reviewing BIM models & BIM related documents (BEP, Specification) from the consultant.? Creating the report in aspect of compliance with the approved BIM standards.? Cross checking the BIM deliverables from the contractors and preparing the submission checklist.? Maintain the folder structure of the exchange of information from both the consultant and client.? Leading a team of BIM modelers.? Tracking input documents, RFI issues & project submission schedule.? Reviewing the input design drawing & raise RFI for the design related discrepancy.? Generation and solving clash report using Navisworks.? Assist in establishing & setting up new project with the relevant file structure & adhere to all agreed BIM standards, BIM execution plan etc.? Model publishing in BIM 360 and maintaining documentation in BIM 360.? Technical advancement in the field of BIM, e.g., by maintaining a current working knowledge of industry practices and advances with the technology, then implementing them within the department.? Develop Building Services design solution working in close collaboration with Architects, Structural Engineers and other design team stakeholders.? Assist in establishing and setting up new projects with the relevant file structures and adhere to all agreed BIM standards, BIM Execution plans etc.? An in depth understanding of Middle East design criteria, standards and regulations.? Undertake self-checking initiatives whilst maintaining quality control of junior modelers works and ensure adherence to all relevant design criteria and standards.? Creating and solving clash report using Navisworks.Performing design services for &F system (HVAC, Plumbing, & Firefighting, Electrical) for all projects for the following but not limited to high rise building, commercial, hospital, data centers, both high- and low-rise developments.? Preparation of shop drawings for the combined services drawing, individual services drawing, with tagging and annotation.? Preparation of schedule quantity report, creating of parametric and non-parametric Revit families.? BIM coordination with architecture and structure and other services.? Preparing BOQ, technical data sheets, quantity take offs.? Performing clash tests and preparing clash report.? Shop drawing preparation and performing QA/QC.? Creation of Revit families (tagging &annotation).? Highlighting the problems in Services with RFI?s and Proposing Solutions.? Coordinate with the CAD/BIM Manager and Engineers to make sure that all information required has been satisfactorily met according to Draughting/BIM standards.? Monitoring BIM models for coordination and information integrity to ensure compliance with project deliverables and company BIM standards.? Maintaining and updating BIM libraries, Project templates for Revit projects.? Contributing to developing BIM standards and workflows for best practices.? Attend Meetings if & when necessary or directed by the CAD/BIM Manager to assist the project.? Site visiting & supporting the site in case of complications when instructed by the CAD/BIM Manager.? Preparing BIM models, Design and Workshop drawings for Heating, Ventilating & Air-conditioning (HVAC), Chilled water and coordination layouts including Plant room details, Elevations and Sections according to the design/consultants? drawings.? Responsible for Clash free Co-ordination with Architecture, Structure & services.
