Job Description

Principal Accountabilities

  • Works closed to the Floor Supervisor.
  • Prepares or serves hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees and tea in addition to the fresh juices and shakes.
  • Cleans and sanitizes work areas, utensils or equipment.
  • Checks temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Describes menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.
  • Serve menu items as per printed orders and makes sure commitment in modifiers, ensure accuracy and beverages presentation.
  • Orders, receives and stock supplies and makes sure receiving as per the purchase orders.
  • Provides customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions whenever asked.
  • Commits in approved recipes and methods of preparation.
  • Follows up regularly the labeling process as well as the expiry dates and makes sure strict compliance with the hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Reports with complaints, comments or special requests to the Floor Supervisor or line manager.
  • Answers customers questions and provides information on policies and procedures.
  • Processes items returns and exchanges with the communication of the Floor Supervisor.
  • Offer customers carry-out service at the completion of transactions and assists when needed.
  • Follows his line managers? instructions and works on implementation.
  • Communicates with the Head Waiter / Supervisor regarding service concerns.
  • Completes side duties as required including, polishing silverware, restaurant set up, and filling condiments.
  • Ensures compliance with company?s policies and procedures.
  • Makes sure following the customer service as per the given training.
  • Preserves a high standard of customer care.
  • Follows the appropriate presentation of delivered items as per standards.
  • Commits in assigned section as per daily schedule and his line manager?s request.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
