The company operates under anISO 9001/AS9100 certified quality management system.S3International is a wholly owned subsidiary ofS3, specifically incorporated to deliver dedicated aviation operations, logistics, and training support to host nations at their OCONUS locations.S3IDescription:The Aviation MOS Instructor functions as a 15N, 15R, 15S, 15T, or 15Y MOS Qualification Course Instructor under the direction of the Aviation Institute Senior Training Manager and performs duties as a 15N, 15R, 15S, 15T, or 15Y Course Instructor, conducting academic instruction, hands-on performance training, and evaluations to ensure student proficiency and adherence to maintenance standards. Will also maintain Student Training Records.Duties:* Removes and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies and components such as engines, rotors, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components. Services and lubricates aircraft and subsystems. Incumbent may perform one or more of the following duties: * Safely prepares the aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks and services. * Performs scheduled inspections and assists in performing special inspections. * Performs limited maintenance operational checks and diagnoses and troubleshoots aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment as required. * Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment. * Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate problems by interpreting technical documentation such as aircraft technical manuals, maintenance information and action messages as well as all technical guidance provided through government official representatives. * Applies a working knowledge of technical publications and the Army?s Aviation Logistics Information System, ULLS-A (E). * Prioritizes workloads and is required to lead teams through complex aircraft relevant tasks. * Makes entries in aircraft logs and records. * Participates in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.Responsibilities:* Perform all above duties to include POI technical writing/course ware development and periodic revisions as necessary. * Create, implement, and modify curriculum as required to meet course learning objectives. * Provide classroom and hands on Instruction utilizing a variety of teaching techniques to prepare students for MOS Qualification. * Maintain and manage classroom environment, equipment, tools, and supplies. * Able to perform duties in a culturally sensitive environment and maintain a professional approach, attitude, and appearance at all times. * Other duties as assigned and or directed by management. * Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.Qualifications:* High School Graduate or equivalent experience. * Must be a graduate of U.S. Military Aircraft Repairers course or hold an FAA A&P certificate. * Possess a basic knowledge of electrical theory. * Have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers sheet metal breaks and sheers. * Possesses the level of experience to inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance to be performed by a lower level technician. * Able to develop syllabi and provide instruction to 15N, 15R, 15S, 15T, or 15Y MOS candidates. * Ability to communicate both orally and written. * Ability to communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner. * Possess a valid drivers license. * DD214 required for military experience. * Pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include medical, drug testing, background checks, etc. * Secret level security clearance.
