One of the giga-projects in Saudi Arabia focusing on culture and preserving heritage through real estate development whilst increasing the countries future tourism.DescriptionAssociate Director of Sustainability - Construction Stage Certification, reporting to the Head of Sustainability, will play a critical role in ensuring projects meet the highest sustainability standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to implement and monitor sustainable practices, with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency and waste reduction. Your expertise in sustainability certifications and construction processes will be essential in achieving sustainability goals while preserving the heritage and cultural significance of the developments.Construction Stage CertificationLead the certification process for sustainability standards such as LEED and other green building certificationsCollaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with certification requirements throughout the construction phaseManage documentation, data collection, and reporting related to sustainability certificationsStakeholder EngagementEngage with all stakeholders, including project teams, local communities, regulatory agencies, and sustainability organizationsProvide guidance and training on sustainable construction practices to project teams, contractors, and other relevant partiesParticipate in sustainability-related meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote the companys commitment to sustainabilityProfileBachelors degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
