SummaryEnsures efficient and continuous production of all utility services. Organizes operation of standing engines and mechanical equipment to provide power, water steam, de-ionized and reverse osmosis water systems, steam and compressed air and other utilities are available at all times.Essential Responsibilities and Duties1-Provides administrative support to the Department Head in daily operational activities.2.Assists with supervision of subordinates daily work activities. Assists with scheduling and with work assignments.3. Evaluates performance of subordinates daily work activities. Assists with scheduling and with work assignments.4. Assists,coordinates and participates in drill and actual implementation of disasterand contingency plans, as required.5.Performs special projects and studies as assigned by Department Head and recommends action to be taken. Assists in the review, revisions and implementations of departmental policies and procedures. Assists in the preparation of department budget.6.Determinesdepartmentaltraining needs. Assists in the training and orientation of new personnel.7.Assists in the evaluation of candidatesfor employment and makesrecommendations regarding hire.8.Participates in the commissioning work and function tests of new equipment/systems,as related.9.Coordinatesdepartmentalactivitieswithotherdepartments toresolve problems and to eliminate disruptions in operations and services.10.Ensuresthatdepartmental personnelobserve safe work practicesandthat toolsand equipment are used properly.11. Acts as Department Head in his absence or as assigned.12. Follows all prescribed Hospital and departmental safety and other procedures.EducationBachelor Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering .Experience RequiredEight (8) years of related experience including three (3) yearsin a supervisory capacity.Other Requirements(Certificates)* Saudi Drivers License.* For Saudi National only.
