They are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver.Project Overview:Bechtel and its consortium partners are excited to begin hiring the completion teams which will finalize the monumental Riyadh Metro Project (RMP), currently estimated at 94% complete.The BACS consortium, which includes Almabani General Contractors, Consolidated Contractors Company, and , is responsible for the design, construction, train cars, and signaling as well as electrification and integration of the new lines to the rest of the system.Riyadh?s population of nearly 6 million is forecast to increase to 8 million by 2030. These values are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver.We invite you to apply to become part of this very important transportation project and deliver this railway system to the residents of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Position Summary:The Architectural Site Engineer is responsible for to provide technical support to construction contractor and direct hired construction crews engaged in installation of architectural commodities for various buildings and stations.They will ensure that work is carried out safely, on time, to specification and as per contract requirements.Typical Responsibilities:Assists construction superintendents / contractor field supervision in planning construction methods and procedures. Coordinates and resolves engineering or construction problems with superintendents and Project Engineer.Interprets architectural design engineering drawings and prepares construction working drawings for the use of Contractors as required. Works with construction contractor, direct hired crews, field supervision as an integrated construction team to ensure architectural installation is compliant to IFC design, codes and standards and also work is done meeting project quality and ES&H requirements.Field sketches of revisions and additions and preparing ?as built? drawings.Reviews design drawings, related vendor drawings and installation instructions and studies interference problems.Tracks commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database programs as required.Assists in coordination of Contractor material deliveries, storage of materials, expediting and engineering reports related to the schedule.Prepares projections and schedules for workforce, material and equipment requirements.Prepares field change notices/requests, extra work orders and back charge notices. Monitor and report progress. inspect materials.Maintains records of costs and quantity information, evaluates data and prepares applicable reports as requested by project management utilizing established, standardized automation tools.Monitors the activities of contractors to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.Provides input to constructability and lessons learned.. Reviews and approves contractors installation method statementsPreferred Skills and Qualifications:Typically requires bachelor?s or master?s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (or international equivalent) and 5-7 years of relevant experience, or 9-11 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Shall have field experience of Architectural installation on large infrastructural and commercial projectsStrong leadership skills and ability to influence external stakeholdersTechnical knowledge of architectural concepts, architecture of construction methods and materials and application.Good knowledge of major industry or regulatory standards and installation practices of architecture components for the commercial and public facilities such as metro stations, rail stations and other buildings.Effective communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholdersAbility to drive work in a safe manner to meet project targetsExperience of construction work method statements and risk assessmentsExperience of working in a live operational environmentShaping tomorrow togetherBechtel is one of the most respected global engineering, construction, and project management companies.
