Assist the SIS architecture team with the implementation, conversion, and customization.
Recommend, design, and implement best practices for the streamlining of business processes.
Work with end users to understand business process needs and how these translate to technical and configuration requirements.
Develop and document technical and functional specifications and requirements.
Participate in the design of user interfaces, outputs and reporting solutions.
Review and validate technical and functional specifications to insure alignment with identified criteria and configured processes.
Keep abreast of new releases of Banner.
Assist in the establishment of training schedules, testing schedules, and upgrade windows for all Banner releases.
Develop testing strategies inclusive of both functional and technical system components.
Participate in the creation of testing criteria, processes, and data to validate functional and technical configurations.
Develop and maintain both manual and automated test environments for acceptance, usability, functional, and regression testing.
Maintain, develop and execute testing strategies with documented procedures and outcomes in alignment with new product/project developments.
Participate in quality assurance reviews and assessments.
Consult with technical and functional staff to gather information regarding functions, features, requirements, and controls for consideration in testing.

To handle and document all technical details of the current setup (AS IS) of Banner systems: INB, SSB, reports, database and job submissions.
Communicate with the main application vendor and partners including the escalation of support requests.
Perform system health check and performance monitoring.
Handle the integration of all external systems with Banner.
