To supervise Water Works? technical support activities in order to ensure supporting sales operations, and maximizing the long-term revenue and profitability of Water Works? products within AIC?s operational plans, and adopted policies and procedures.Key Activities Sales OperationsIdentify, research, and conduct prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat businessAssess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and servicesRespond to customers? technical inquiries and support Sales Representatives in technical aspects of the sale as requiredReview requests for proposals, and prepare sales bids, technical costing and proposals to support sales processParticipate in meetings with customers during the sales process to discuss and address technical inquiriesNegotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authorityConduct product presentation or seminars to promote company products Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain long-term customer relationships with the region?s customers to ensure identifying and addressing their current and future technical needsEnsure customer relationship management techniques are applied by the region?s engineering staff including advising customers on the market?s trends and offerings to increase customers? loyalty to AICAddress and resolve technical disputes with the region?s customers to ensure customer retention and protect AIC?s market positioning Reporting and Relationship ManagementRefer customer feedback and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within AIC so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demandsDocument work progress regularly and develop reports to keep management updated on work progress on a regular basisManage relationships with service suppliers (e.g. workshops, electricians) to minimize costs and ensure company receives satisfactory standards of service Policies, Processes and ProceduresImplement approved policies, processes, procedures and provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled mannerContribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvementSupport in monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures Safety, Health and EnvironmentComply with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environmentParticipate in incident and accident investigations as required in line with agreed safety, health and environment policies, procedures and controlsReport on changes within AIC that impact relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls
