Establishes and monitors financial controls around the AP/AR operations, including but not limited to the review of related account reconciliations.
Manages the development and implementation of cost accounting policies, systems, and controls to ensure that costs are properly allocated and accounted for.
Assists in the development and implementation of new accounting policies and procedures to meet the changing requirements and the anticipated future needs of the business.
Manages and monitors SAR?s account payables and receivables activities, ensuring alignment with the developed standards and procedures.
Ensures compliance with all contractual payment policy terms and conditions and implement credit control policies, practices, and guidelines.
Manages the accounts payable and receivables function ensuring that all invoices are paid in a timely and efficient manner.
Manages all monthly accounts payable and receivables procedures including preparation of necessary notes for entry into the General Ledger.
Ensures timely payments by following up on pending invoices with the clients and manages payments with suppliers/vendors.
Liaises with management and other departments to resolve any discrepancies and questions related to the recording of payments transactions.
Provides necessary reports and information to support the internal as well as external audit process.
Seeks to identify process improvement measures by staying updated on market trends and implements necessary measures within SAR to increase operational efficiency.
Responsible for AP/AR reporting. Such as, aging reports, turnover reports.
