Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Riyadh & Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong background in managing financial operations and leading a team. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic guidance to the organization. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  3. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  4. Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, including the development of financial models and analysis of variances.
  5. Monitor cash flow and manage working capital to optimize financial performance and minimize risk.
  6. Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, including the preparation of audit schedules and financial statements.
  7. Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  8. Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team, providing coaching, mentoring, and ongoing training to ensure professional growth.
  9. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and ensure compliance with local and international reporting requirements.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred.
  3. Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
  4. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  7. Experience with financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  8. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  9. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  10. Knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations in Saudi Arabia is a must.
